SOTELO, JR., Jose, born November 5, 1942, in Mexico, passed away December 15, 2002, in Dallas.Jose served in the Mexican Military and competed in many bicycle races.He loved baseball and played as a pitcher for many teams in Dallas and Mexico.Survived by: wife, Antonia Sotelo of Mexico; son, Juan Sotelo of Dallas; daughters, Gloria Sotelo of Connecticut, Magdalena Botello of Duncanville, TX., Nelva Sotelo of Dallas and Gisela Sotelo of Dallas; mother, Maria Isabel Sotelo of Mexico; grandchildren, Joshua Hall, Gabby Hall, Mindy Sotelo & Jacqueline Botello; five brothers and seven sisters.Mass of Christian Burial will be held @ 2:00PM Wednesday December 18, 2002, at the Sacred Heart Chapel with entombment following in the Sacret Heart Cemetery.Recitation of Holy Rosary will be 7:00PM Tuesday December 17, 2002, at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel.
