ALVAREZ,Jorge of Mesquite, born February 10, 1944,passed peacefully on April 12, 2011. Jorge Alvarez is a native of LaPaz, Bolivia and came to America in October 1965 for opportunties and to join his brother, Mario. He loved the hospitality industry which led him to enjoy many new places. Some of the places he loved were Arlington, VA. at the Washington, D.C. Hilton Hotel, St. Louis, MO. at the Pavilion Marriott and Dallas, TX. at the Crescent Court Hotel. He was adored by his family and friends. Malory, his daughter, loved every minute they spent together. He was the best father and friend that anyone could ask for. Jorge is preceded in death by his mother, Arminda Alvarez, resting in peace in Arlington, Virginia. He is survived by his dear daughter, Malory Citek. He is also survived by his brothers: Emilio Alvarez and wife, Elba and their sons: Mario & Jorge and grandson Miguel; Alberto Alvarez and wife, Rosa and their children, Carlos, Cynthia & Melissa, Mario Alvarez and wife Iris Alvarezand their daughter, Angela Alvarez. A Memorial service will be held at 10:00AM Saturday April 16, 2011 atthe New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182.
