Honeycutt, Jolene Renea Boyett, of Mesquite, born October 22, 1960, at St. Paul Hospital, Dallas, TX, passed away January 19, 2013. Jolene married Kenneth Honeycutt on July 2, 2005. She was preceded in death by her son Heath Honeycutt; grandparents, Ollen & Juanita Herring, and Emmett and Beatrice Boyett; and great-grandparents, Preston and Iona Tabor. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Honeycutt; parents, Joe & Oleen Boyett; children, Melissa Honeycutt, Stephanie Moore (Philip Deroy), and Brian Moore; sister, Rhonda Boyett Anderson; grandchildren, Mike, Mylia, Sophia, Avery, Christian, Gabby, Gabe, Heather, Samantha and Harlie, as well as many others she claimed as hers; nieces, Jennifer Anderson & Valerie Williams; and numerous great-nieces and nephews, and cousins, as well as countless friends Jolene considered as family. She graduated in the class of 1978 from W. W. Samuell High School, Dallas, where she was active in the choir and was a member of Jesters , a select singing group. She began working in the insurance industry immediately after high school andworked mainly in Commercial Insurance and held several insurance designations and certificates. Jolene was truly a people person; she loved being with family and friends; loved to help others solve their problems.Jolene had a laugh that filled the room like no other. Jolenes greatest joy came from serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.She accepted Christ at an early age and since then has shared her love for Him with countless people and led many to the Lord.She truly had a servants heart. Her family and friends will miss her more than words can tell, but receive comfort from knowing that she is Heaven with her Lord and many, many family members and friends whohave gone before her. Family will receive friends at the New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Highway 80, Sunnyvale, TX, Tuesday, January 22nd, 5-7PM.Her Service will be 1:00pm Wednesday, January 23rd at Oates Drive Baptist Church, 2805 Oates Drive, Mesquite, TX.Internment will be at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 4118 Samuell Blvd., Dallas, TX.
