Johnny Weldon Skipworth

Johnny Weldon Skipworth, everyone knew him by Skip, 77, was born January 3,1942 in Plainview,Tx., Passed away April 1,2019, at Country View Manor in Terrell, Tx. Skip served in the Airforce from February 1, 1962 to January 11,1967 with an Honorable discharge from McGuire AFB New Jersey. He was an amazing, kind man that was loved by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. He had a passion for old cars and Shuffleboard. His greatest love was his wife Trisha. They had a love, friendship, compatability that was enchanting. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Doyle and Margaret Skipworth; Brother, Gene Doyle Skipworth He is survived by his wife Trisha Skipworth; Daughter, Tamara Tompkins and husband Kirk Watson; Grandchildren, Anthony Tompkins and wife Jean, Brandon Grauman, Dustin Watson and wife Amanda, Cassidy Watson; Great Grandsons, Jaxon, Austin; Sister, Pat Blackburn and husband Calvin; Great friends that are more like brothers, Chuck Lemay, Vaughn Chavoya and many friends. His Memorial Service will be held at New Hope Funeral Home on April 13, 2019 at 12
