POE, John Robert of Forney, born February 27, 1947, passed away March 24, 2007. He was a faithful Christian man who loved God, his family and friends.He was a hard working businessman and owned his own company.He was the author of a book of which the proceeds went to help locate missing children.He served in the United States Army and was strongly devoted to his country.His hobbies included traveling, cooking, Gospel music, basketball, and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by parents, John Abner Poe and Nancy Jane Atkins; brother, Edward Lee Poe. Survived by wife, Dianne Poe; sons, John Robert Poe Jr. and Chad Gregory; daughter and son-in-law, Laci & Nick Browne; grandson, Mason James Browne; sister, Stella Wood; sisters and brothers-in-law, Becky & Lee Basham, Debbie & Lawrence Samson; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don & Mary Poe, David & Liz Poe; nieces, nephews, aunts and friends. Graveside service will be 10:00AM Thursday March 29, 2007 at the DFW National Cemetery, 2191 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX. 75211.
