MOBLEY, III, John Wesley of Garland, born May 23, 1967, passed away February 16, 2006.In high school he was chosen a class favorite and an officer of his class.John was chosen for the publication of"Who's Who" of American High School Students and went on to play college football at Cameron University. After college he joined the Navy and was chosen the number one recruit in his class. Upon leaving the Navy his occupation was a salesman. He coached his son in baseball and loved to take John fishing and spent lots of time at his sporting events. He was very close to his family and loved each one in a special way. He will be dearly missed but will always be with us. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Johnny & Pauline Mobley & great grandmother, Lillie Lenore Mach.Survived by son, John Wesley Mobley IV & his mother, Rita Mobley; mother, Barbara & her husband, Larry Shannon; father, John Mobley & his wife, Janey; grandmother, Mary Johnson; sisters, Kim & husband, Perry Christensen, Debbie & husband, Kendell North; nieces, Brittney Wortham, Lindsey North; nephew, Jordan North; aunts, Rose Stephens, Linda Nunns; great uncle, Bill Burkhalter; cousins, Josh Stephens, Jennifer Heimann and Jeff Burkhalter. Service will be 1:00PM Monday February 20, 2006 at Eastridge Park Christian Church, 2701 Town East Blvd., Mesquite, TX. 75150, with Rev. Dan Carroll officiating.Interment service will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Eastridge ParkChurch Day Care.
