He was retired Executive Vice President of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. after 49 years.Past President of Founders Lion Club, Past President of Dallas Crime Commission, Council Member of G. W. Bush Drug Committee, Founder of Dallas Muzzle Loading Assoc., Lobbyist for Coca-Cola Enterprises. Survived by wife, Nell McKissick; children, Mike & wife, Barbara, Debbie & Charles Tanner, Karen & Benny Barber, & Randy & wife, Julie; Grandchildren, Amie & David, Tammie, Michael & Ashley, Steven, Mandy, Katie, Megan, Kevin and Tristen; 5 great grandchildren, Nathan, Nicole, Cade, Stephanie & Blake; 5 brothers & sisters, and many nieces & nephews. Service will be 11:00AM Thursday, January 12, 2006 at the St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3030 Gus Thomasson Rd., Dallas, TX. 75228.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM - 7:30PM with Rosary beginning at 7:30PM.
