John Paul Marshall

John Paul Marshall of Mesquite, born October 25, 1947, passed away August 16, 2017. Preceded in death by parents, Willard Verle Marshall and Ophelia Ann Barnett; grandparents, Arthur & Goldie Marshall and Paul and Jessie Barnett, sister-in-law, Dana Marshall. Survived by step-mother, Panzy Powers; brother, Willard David Marshall; sister, Myra Mechelle Marshall Johnson & husband, James; nephews, Willard Paden Marshall, Troy Dean Johnson (Jenna), Garrett Spencer Johnson; and numerous extended family. Johnny graduated from University of Texas with a BBA. He was a CPA & was employed by Wyatt Cafeterias for many years and later Texas Department of Transportation. Johnny was also a member of Shiloh Terrace Baptist Church. Service will be 10:00AM Saturday August 19, 2017 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182. Visitation will be Friday evening at New Hope from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. A special thank you to Dr. Douglas Orr M.
