John Augusta Dyess of Garland, TX, was born January 16, 1924 in Mineola, TX and passed away November 20, 2015.John is survived by wife of 68 years Helen R Dyess, daughter Debbie Dethlefsen, son and daughter in law Mark and Susan Dyess, grandchildren Jennifer Horne and husband Allen, Justin Dyess and wife Lauren, great grandchildren Lexi and Jackson Cox, Jake and Jordan Dyess. Memorial service will be held Monday, November 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church Chapel.
