If Love Could Have Saved You, You Would Have Lived Forever Joel Dwayne Myers, beloved Son, Father, and Brother born April 2, 1968, passed away January 8, 2015. Joel was born in Dallas, Texas to loving parents Joe and Twyla Myers. Joel is preceded in death by his mother Twyla Myers. Joel was raised in the Pleasant Grove area. After graduating from W.W. Samuell High School in 1986, Joel worked in the heating and air conditioning field for many years before joining his father in business at Myers Air Conditioning and Heating in 2013. Joel attended Pleasant Oaks Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas and at times assisted with the food pantry. Joel was a member of the Lake Tawakoni Bass Club. Joel loved sharing his angler tips with other fisherman. Joel's favorite past times were fishing, and watching Nascar and sports. Joel never met a stranger. Joel shared his fishing stories and love of God with everyone he came in contact with. Joel is survived by his father, Joe, sister Tara, son Randall Hitt, step son Aaron Hitt, grandson Sebastian Hitt, and nieces and nephew Ashleigh, Noah, and Melanee. To all family and friends, Joel loved everyone with all his heart. Our deepest heartfelt thanks for all prayers, encouragement, and acts of kindness. Please continue to remember us in your prayers. Interment 1:30 p.m. at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mabank, Van Zandt County, Texas.
