Preceded in death by parents, Llewellyn Swint and Zella Lee Swint; brothers, Virgil Swint, Ray Swint, Llewellyn Swint, Jr; sister, Alvi Nell Brown. Survived by wife of almost 60 years, Laverne Pilkinton Swint; children, Dennis Swint & wife, Virginia, Diane Tompkins & husband, Larry, David Swint & wife, Kelly; grandchildren, Jarrod Swint & wife, Jessica, Karen Swint, Casey Swint, Andrew Swint,Austin Swint;great grandchildren, Lilith Swint, Greyson Swint; sisters, Mavis Ware, Retha Ann Hammond & husband, Robert; sister-in-law, June Swint; numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 11:00AM Friday July 8, 2016 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnvyale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 5:00PM - 7:00PM. Interment will follow at Mesquite City Cemetery.
