Joe Donald Sanders

It is with great sadness that we announce that Joe D. Sanders passed away peacefully on Thursday November 1, 2018 at the age of 85 at his home in Rockwall, Texas.Joe is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jolinda Sanders; children, Debbie Yates & husband, David, Larry Sanders & wife, Kathy, Tamara Sanders & husband, Morrison, Chris Sanders & wife, Brenda; step-son, Jay Barringer & wife, Teri; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and numerous friends and family.Joe was born in 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to Jack E. Sanders, Sr. and Viola on February 27, 1933 and moved to Dallas where he grew up and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School.Shortlly after graduated he entered in the Navy until 1955. After 35 years of service he retired from Hunt Oil Company.He was deeply loved by his family and friends and a role model to all his children.Joe enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, traveling and his fur babies, DeeDee and Baby.
