Joe Pesina, age 59, passed away on December 13, 2023, in Dallas, Texas after a long battle fighting cancer. He was born on December 6, 1964 in Dallas, Texas, to John Pesina and Anita Ortega Pesina.
Joe graduated from Mesquite High School and started his career at Kraft Foods and worked there for a total of 36 years.
Joe married Anissa on May 1, 1993. The couple's children include Raechyl Parham, Randilyn Basham, Denise Gonzalez, Allison Pesina and son-in-law, Sergio Gonzalez.
Joe was best known for his love of Jesus, going on mission trips with FBC Forney, serving others, and spending time with his family. He never missed a grandchild's activity. He loved to travel with his wife to see new places and experience adventures. Joe loved watching the Texas Rangers and Philadelphia Eagles with his daughter Denise by his side.
Joe is survived by his loving spouse of 30 years, Anissa Pesina of Forney; daughters, Raechyl, Randilyn, Denise, and Allison; son-in-law, Sergio; grandchildren, Brody, Sloan, Rory, Ileana, Laynie, Luke and Audriel; father, John Pesina; and sister, Denise Duran.
Joe is preceded in death by his mother, Anita Pesina; brother, John "PNut" Pesina; beloved grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Joe will be greatly missed on the earth, but will spend eternity in Heaven worshipping our Savior.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 21, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home - Stateroom A in Sunnyvale, Texas. The funeral service for Joe Pesina will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 22, 2023 at First Baptist Church of Forney, Texas. Burial will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Balch Springs, Texas.
Pallbearers for the serivce will be: Brody Gonzalez, Sergio Gonzales, Noah McClung, Derek McDonald, Ray Pesina, Ray Duran, Keith Shaver, Jim Crowley, Tim Halsdorf, Scott McCraken and Patrick Luecke.
