Joann Manak

Joann Manak of Dallas, born December 10, 1938, passed away February 10, 2018.She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Jerry Manak; children, Jerry Manak, Jr; Sally and her husband, Dan Wendell, Paul Manak and his wife, Meredith; grandchildren, Rachel, Remy and Roan Manak and lots of nieces ane nephews.She will be greatly missed.She was renowned in her cooking skills especially Czech kolaches and many other ethnic foods.She was a gifted artist and very creative, as well as, an outstanding seamstress.She was a proud member of the St. Thomas Aquinas Alter Society and also a member of the SPJST Czech Lodge for 50+ years.Visitation at 7:00PM Rosary at 7:30PM Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas, 6306 Kenwood Avenue, Dallas, TX.Funeral will be held at 10:00AM Friday at St. Thomas Aquinas, 6306 Kenwood Avenue, Dallas, Texas with reception immediately after at St. Ann's Hall behind the church. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society or send a small tree to plantat the farm in her name.
