Jo Ann Thompson

Jo Ann Thompson was born November 21, 1925 and passed away August 10, 2017. Jo Ann was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, L.W. Thompson Sr. She was also preceded in death by her parents, RC and Mary Ann Hazelwood; sisters, Pauline Burke, Mozelle Burnett, Sybil Gowin and Donna Dean; and her son Butch Thompson.Jo Ann was also preceded in death by her husband’s Dwight Allen and Harlon Coggin; Harlon's son, Kevin Coggin; great grand-child LaCretia Simpson and great great grand-children Krissy Boswell and Taegen McKinney Jo Ann was survived by her children: Hilda Alese Avant and husband Donnie Mac, John R. Thompson and wife Regina, Harlon's son, Ken Coggin and wife Sherri, Dwight's daughter Nell Hill and her siblings; her grand-children, Janice Thompson, Juanita Mathis, Michelle Huffman, Jeff Thompson, Mac Gunter, Debbie Hughes, Donnie Avant, Melanie Rodgers, Todd Thompson, Jason Thompson, Amy Airhart, Dena Jones and Ashley Lusk; 42 great grand-children and 37 great great grand-children and numerous nieces and nephews.
