STALEY, Jimmy Thomas was born March 24, 1935 in Roxton, TX, and he went home to be with his Lord on April 3, 2014. Jimmy was preceded in death by parents, Tommy C. & Ruby Blanche Staley; brothers, Leland Staley and Eugene Staley; sister, Neva Nell Armstrong. Survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Norma Jean Staley; son, Gregory Thomas Staley & wife, Renee; daugher, Lorie Dee Staley; granddaughters, Rachel Janiece Staley and Katy Sueann Staley; brothers, Harley Ray Staley & wife, Lucy, Billy Staley & wife, Janice, Bobby Staley & wife, Lois; sisters, Mary Francis Wilson, Claudine Wood & husband, John, Joy Whitaker & husband Bobby Don.He is survived by many nephews and nieces. Jimmy lived with his family in Forney, Texas for the past nineteen years.He was a well known band instrument repairman in the Dallas are for 50 yeas at McCord Music, Brook Mays Music Company, Lone Star Percussion and most recently at Music and Arts of Plano, Texas. He was a faithful member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church, now located in Forney, Texas where he served the Lord for 45 years.Jimmy was loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed by many. Visitation will be held at 10:00AM Saturday April 5, 2014, just prior to the funeral service at 11:30AM at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. Officiating at the services will be Leonard Jackson, III. Burial will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, Texas.
