Ownbey, Jimmy I. of Mesquite, TX, born March 3, 1937 passed away June 2, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Manuel & Lorraine Irwin; adopted parents, M.C. & Marie Ownbey. Survived by wife of 55 years, Pat Ownbey; children, Tracy Galyon and Tammy Rowan; grandchildren, Lindsay Ball, Bradley Rowan, Jared Galyon, Kersti Engrav; sisters, Loretta Hiency and Patricia Weaver; sons-in-law, Tim Galyon and Alan Rowan; numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 2:00PM Thursday at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday morning from 12:00PM to 2:00PM. Interment will follow in New Hope Memorial Gardens, Sunnyvale, TX.
