Jimmy Hodges

Jimmy Lee Hodges was born April 20, 1938 in Electra, Texas to Ira and Eva Lee Hodges. He was the only boy with four sisters. He was baptized in 1954 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was married to Linda Mitcham in 1957 and they had three children; Lee Wesley, Cecelia Carolyn and Jeffrey Lyle. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Cecelia who was his care giver in his later years. He is survived by two sons and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his four sisters Millie Ramey, Irlane Hodges,Shirley Self and Anna Sykes and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He lived in Springdale Arkansas until recently and died in Sunnyvale, Texas on Saturday May 12, 2012. He will be buried at Restland Cemetery near his parents after services at New Hope Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 16, 2012.
