Jimmie "Babe" Shaw

Jimmie Lee Shaw lived at 212 Westminster Drive, Forney Texas where he went to be with his Lord on December 27th at 6:20 PM. Jimmie was born in Dallas County on October 30th, 1943 to parents Woodrow Wilson and Lena Pearl (Moore) Shaw who preceded him in death alongside his brother Wilson Shaw. Jimmie resided the majority of his life in Duncanville, Texas where he met his wife, Carolyn. Carolyn (Myers) and Jimmie were married in Duncanville on December 14th, 1963. Jimmie graduated from Duncanville High School where he was an avid athlete. Jimmie was known for his respectable work ethic in the construction field. Jimmie was survived by his loving and devoted wife, Carolyn Shaw and their three children, son Jimmie Shaw and wife Joni, daughter Kimberly and Timothy Schafer, and daughter Karen and Terry Duncan. Grandchildren, Forrest, Hunter, and Easton, Loren and her husband Kendal, Sophia, Bayler, James, and NataLee,Victoria and her husband Samuel, Zachary and his wife Hannah, Caitlyn, AdriAnne, and MaKennah. His great-grandchildren Amariah, Jadelyn, and Roman. There will be a visitation to honor the memory of Jimmie Shaw on Monday, December 30th at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. There will also be a Funeral Service held at First Baptist Church in Forney on Tuesday, December 31st at 1:00 PM performed by Pastor Jerry Griffin.
