RODGERS, Jim Vester of Forney, born January 17, 1936 in Bolivar, TN., passed away February 27, 2007 in Mesquite, TX. He was a truck driver and mechanic. Survived by wife of 51 years, Joyce Mitchell Rodgers; daughters, Rebecca Elze & husband, John, Saundra Jennings; grandchildren, Aaron Tunnell & wife, Trina, Valerie Manning & husband, David, Amanda Duncan & husband, Ryan, Julie Penisten & husband, J.R., Jim Mullins, Amy Jennings, Jessica Jennings, Molly Jennings, Justin Elze; great grandchildren, Abbey Manning, Zoe Tunnell, Natalie Tunnell, Hannah Manning, Emmah Manning, Caleb Manning; sisters, Nonie Reed & husband, Frank, Jane Smith; brothers, Joe Mitchell & wife, Patty, Paul Mitchell & wife, Shirley. Jim received Christ as Savior in 1970. Service will be 1:00PM Friday March 2, 2007 at Berean Baptist Church, 302 N. Town East Blvd., Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Visitation will be Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
