EVANS, Jewell Dean of Rowlett, born July16, 1929, passed away November 13, 2006. Jewell was an excellent fudge maker. Preceded in death by husband, Larry Evans; mother, Artie Lawson; father, William O. Lawson; sister, Geneva Lynch. Survived by daughter, Brenda Stacks & husband, Jim; granddaughters, Christa Linsteadt & husband, Brent, Misty Shelton & husband, David; great grandchildren, Kevin Linsteadt, Trevor Crank & Tiffany Crank; brothers, Lyman Lawson & wife, Sharon, Larry Lawson & wife, Shirley; step-mother, Dorothy Lawson. Service will be 10:00AM Thursday November 16, 2006 at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Cancer Society
