Jeromy Leland Smith was born on August 31, 1976 in Pueblo, CO. He has loved the trucking industry for the last twenty-four years, and most recently was the “Truck Boss” for Bright Excavation, a division of Copart. He was married to the love of his life, Danyelle Smith, on February 14, 2009. A loyal, fun-loving, and hard-working man; he was always willing to lend a hand, and was determined to make everyone laugh as much as possible. Jeromy passed away on Saturday evening, October 6, 2018 at the age of 42. Preceded in death by his son, Landon Amiel Smith, and his grandparents David and Betty Murphey. Survived by his wife, Danyelle Smith; children, Brianna Joy Smith, Dylan Matthew Waters, Cameron Seth Waters, and Saryn Elizabeth Waters; parents, Peggy and John Fincher and Mark and Sandra Smith; grandparents, Amiel and Betty Smith; siblings, Donavan Smith, Crystal Smith, Josh Whiteland, and Callie Whiteland; loving in-laws, six nephews, and five nieces. Services will be held on Friday, October 12, 2018 at 2pm, with visitation on Thursday evening from 5-7pm, at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 US Highway 80 E, Sunnyvale, TX 75182.
