Jennifer Reade Norsworthy

Jennifer Reade Combs Norsworthy was born into this world on November 1, 1969 in Eugene, Oregon, and was promoted to her eternal heavenly home on July 24, 2012. She is survived by Tony, her husband of 18 years, her daughter, Amanda and fianc, Justin Smith, son, Austin, her parents, Fran and Bernie Potter, her in-laws, David and Snow Norsworthy, and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Vera Zibas. Jennifer grew up in the northwest and loved the green plush land of that area. She attended Linfield College where she received her nursing degree. It was in May1988 while vacationing in Hawaii with family friends that Jenn first met Tony, the love of her life, who was stationed there during his service in the US Navy. Oceans could not keep Tony and Jenn apart and they wed on March 12, 1994. Tonys studies brought them to Texas A&M in College Station, and then to Shreveport, Louisiana, and eventually back to Mesquite, Texas, where they have resided for the last 13 years. Jennifer worked at Medical Center of Plano as the central sterilization manager. She was an active and faithful member of Mesquite First Assembly of God where she loved serving her fellow church family in a variety of ways. She was a devoted daughter, a loving wife, a caring mother, and a cherished friend who will be missed beyond words or measure.
