Jeffrey Scott Escue
March 10, 1968 - April 22, 2024
Scott Escue of Mesquite, Texas passed away suddenly on April 22nd.
His love for family and friends, especially his daughter Brittany, was indisputable and his smile would light up a room. His laugh was contagious and he never met a stranger. He worked many years in the car business and spent his free time outdoors fishing and watching baseball. Scott was loved by his family and all who knew him and will be remembered as always being willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. Considered a jack of all trades by his neighbors, he was viewed as a fixture of the neighborhood and enjoyed helping them with landscaping and anything else they needed. He looked forward to the upcoming arrival of his first grandson, Liam, and had already begun eagerly collecting Hot Wheels for him and was excited to find him a fishing pole.
Scott was preceded in death by father, Howard Escue and mother, Loretta Escue and is survived by his daughter Brittany (Michael) Branch, grandson Liam Branch, sister Dana (Mike) Marsh, brother Kyle Escue, niece Mallorie (Nick) Barr, nephews Dylan (Jace) and Payton Marsh, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A shared memorial will be held for him and his mother, Loretta, at New Hope Funeral Home on Thursday, April 25th at 10 AM.
