Jeffrey Shane Chapman

Jeffrey Shane Chapman was born in Dallas, Texas on September 17, 1972 and went home to be with the Lord, just 44 short years later; on December 23, 2016 in Rowlett, Texas. Jeff was preceded in death by his grandparents: Rev. and Mrs. Oscar Hartsfield and Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Chapman. Jeff is survived by his dear wife of 10 years, Alisha Chapman and his 5 year old daughter, Piper Alaina Chapman of Royse City, Texas; parents: James and Sharon Chapman of Athens, Texas; sister, Jamie Chapman Slaten of Athens, Texas; niece, Mackenzie Shayne Slaten of Rockwall, Texas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and many close friends. Jeff touched the lives of each person he came in contact with. He will surely and sincerely be missed by everyone that had the opportunity to know him. A visitation will be held for Jeffrey on Thursday December 29, 2016 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Calvary Baptist Church in Mesquite, Texas. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday December 30, 2016 at 11:00AM at Calvary Baptist Church.
