On Friday, June 21, 2019 Jean Harrell, loving mother of four, grandmother of nine, and great grandmother of 22 was called to Heaven at the age of 78. Jean was born on April 23, 1941 in Paris, Texas to Claude Lindsey and Margaret Pennington. She devoted much of her life to raising her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She recently retired from Public Storage after over 25 years of excellent service and commitment. She was known to be an extremely strong, kind-loving, and supportive beautiful woman both inside and out. She enjoyed reading and playing solitaire along with watching old shows like Golden Girls and Murder She Wrote and Lifetime/Hallmark movies. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family for which she was very proud. She was once an excellent cook before she retired from that as well, but not before she passed down her most valued recipes. Meme, as she was affectionately known by all, had a giving heart and opened her arms to anyone in need. She had a huge extended family of neighborhood kids and friends that always seemed to gravitate to her generous and warm soul. She was a fierce protector of her family and those in need. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Billy Harrell with whom she had four children, her second husband William Lusk, her son Ronnie Harrell, her daughters Vickey Harrell and Tressa Batson, and her granddaughter Jessica Harrell. Jean is survived by her daughter Kathey and son-in-law whom she loved as her own son Stanley Roberts, her widowed daughter-in-law Sandy Harrell, her 9 grandchildren Carla and Bradley Chapman, Ginger and Tommy Chapman, Denise Renfro and OT, Jason and Christina Roberts, Robert and Michelle Felgate, Brandon and Cheyenne Renfro, Joseph and Cheryl Harrell, and Regina and Lance Muennick.
