Jason Kip Gandy was born on November 29, 1984 and passed away on July 24, 2005. He is preceeded in death by his Grandfather, Benjamin Aman of Longview, Tx.; Great Grandparents, Andy Wilcox of Van Alstyne, Tx., Raymond andDoris Gandy of Olney, Tx., Elver and Analue Clinesmith of Seminole, Tx., Juanita and Edward Spriggs of Newcastle, Ok. Jason is survived by his parents, Kip and Kathy Gandy; brothers, Wesley and Logan Gandy, and sister, Danielle Gandy.Grandparents, Larry and Judy Gandy of Olney, Tx, Sue Aman of Longview, Tx., Coy Wilcox and Joanne Manicchia of Mesquite, Tx.; Great Grandmother Marie Wilcox of Van Alstyne, Tx.; fiance', Kari Ann Swinford. He is also survived by his Aunt, Leanne Cantrell and cousins Kelsey and Tyler Coleman of Sherman, Tx., Aunt and Uncle, Rusty and Debra and Cousins, David, Joshua, Russell, and Grace Wilcox of Leonard, Tx.Great Aunts and Uncles, Kay and Grover Parsons of Olney, Tx., Debbie and Tim Hartleben of Howe, Tx., Pauline Clinesmith of Post, Tx., Elaine Clutter of Howe, Tx, Jerry Gandy of Olney, Tx., Mickey and Bobby Gandy of Tye, Tx., Gary and Ida Gandy of Shamrock, Tx, Pete and Tonya Manicchia of Midlothian, Tx., Paul Manicchia of Mesquite, Tx., Phillip and Jennifer Manicchia. Jason graduated from North Mesquite High School in May of 2003 and attended Eastfield College. While in high school Jason was on the varsity football team his junior and senior year.He was involved in the ROTC program all four years of high school and was awarded the instructors award for outstanding achievement. Jason was member of Sunnyvale First Baptist Church. He worked as a shift manager at KFC. He had a great love for his family and friends.His sweet loving smile will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation will be held on July 27, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas, 75182.Funeral Services will be in the Chapel of the Sunnyvale First Baptist Church at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, July 28, 2005.
