Jason Kyle Barberee, Jr. born 11/16/2009 passed away 5/25/2013. He was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Ann Myers; great grandmother, Josephine Lay Myers; great grand grandmother, Shirley Ann Reschke; aunt, Wendy Ann Myers; great aunt, Sherwin June Sandlin; great uncles, Jerry Don Reschke, II, Robert V. Reschke. Jason is survived by his grandparents, Johnny and Deborah Ann Myers of Mesquite; father, Jason Barberee of Forney, step-mom, Bethany Taylor of Forney; grandparents, Jason and Susan Wilson of Forney; grandfather, Jerry Barberee of New Boston; great grandfather, Johnny Myers, Sr. of Mesquite; great grandfather, Jerry Don Reschke of Athens; great grandparents, Steve and Betty Grasham of Mesquite; uncles and aunts, Johnny and Misty Myers and family from Mesquite, James and Jessika Myers and family of Mesquite, Jeremy and Summer Ashcraft and family of Forney; great uncles and aunts, Charles and April Brewer and family of Tennessee colony, Wesley and Jodi Richmon and family of Athens, JD and Lucy Reschke and family of Athens, Bob and Brenda Conkel and family of Richardson, Charles and Linda Merritt and family of Mesquite, David Sadlin and family of Greenville, Tracie Spivey of Scurry. Jason Kyle Barberee, Jr. AKA Baby J. spent the last three years battling cancer and fought the whole journey. Although he spent a lot of time at Childrens and has been though so much in the short time we had the honor to know, spend time with, and love him to the moon and back again. Baby J. has captured everyones heart that he came in contact with. He was a happy and loving little boy. He loved watching Mickey Mouse, Sesame Street, Barney and loved his stuffed animals. Baby Jay loved being held and snuggling in Ganmaw and Papas bed. He knew he was loved and you knew he loved you. His smile could light your world and when you see Baby J. you could not help but smile and the feeling of love would just fill your heart. Words cannot express how much this angel has touched our hearts and our lives are much richer for having him in our lives. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Thursday May 30, 2013 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends 5:00PM to 7:00PM Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will at Mesquite City Cemetery. Pallbearers are James Myers, Johnny Myers, Jason Barberee, J.D. Reschke, Justin Richmon, Shane Richmon, Beau Brewer, Pete Montemayor.
