Janice Current

Janice Lynn Current, age 69, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her husband and children on Sunday, December 3, 2023.

She was born August 21, 1954 in Dallas, TX and was a resident of Mesquite, TX her whole life.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Jettie Mae Logan, Brothers James and Larry Logan and sister Barbara Tatum.

She was supervisor of the butcher block at Albertson's from 1999 to 2016.

Janice loved life. She loved traveling and going to casino's with her husband, David. She loved playing board games with the grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to music, especially Barry Manilow, reading and her cats.

Janice is survived by her husband, David Current of Mesquite, TX.

Children: Cassandra Wilcox and husband Steven of Richardson, Kris Bambico and husband Jason of Mesquite, Misty Beltran and husband George of Mesquite and Henry "Rojo" Torres and wife Maribel of Edmond, OK.

15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be on December 22, 2023 at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 am.
