Jane H. Thompson

Jane Herman Thompson, 84. Residence Fate,Tx, formerly of Granbury, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023. She was a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School (Dallas, TX) l in 1957. She was a member of the Meadow View Church of Christ. She was a member of Bible Study Fellowship, Baccus Elementary Ministry, Peer Evangelism and a leader with the Special Olympics. Jane's talents were many, seamstress, cooking, wife, mother, grandmother, community volunteer, business owner, avid traveler and friend who loved to entertain. Jane loved crafts and all things involving fashion. Preceded in death by her parents WC and Opal Herman and her husband of 49 years, H.F. "Sonny" Thompson. She is survived by her daughters Kim Hinkle, Donna Fielder and son, Michael Thompson. Additionally, survived by five grandchildren Aaron Henley, Nicole Cooper, Josh Cobler, Tyler Hinkle, Brynn Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10am Monday, January 16, 2023 at Meadow View Church of Christ, 4100 N. Galloway Ave. Mesquite, Tx. 75150. Family and friends will meet for visitation at 9am on Monday, January 16th at the same location. Her burial will take place at 2:30pm January 16th at Ridgeway Cemetery, 8481 Farm Road 2653 N, Sulfur Springs TX 75482.
