James Myers Tune

TUNE, James Myers. Born in Forney, Texas July 23, 1914, passed away April 15, 2007. Graduated from Forney High School.He served in the Army Air Corps, South Pacific from 1942 to 1945.Married Mayme Dell Lindsey on February 5, 1939. He was self-employed for many years as a radio and television repairman. Preceded in death by parents, Travis J. Tune & Annie B. Myers Tune; sister, Elizabeth Newberry. Survived by wife of 68 years, Mayme Dell Lindsey Tune; daughter, Janice Tune Criswell & husband, Sam; grandson, Sammy Criswell & wife, Sara; granddaughter, Samantha Parker & husband, Bryan; great granddaughter, Shelby Criswell. Service will be 10:00AM Tuesday April 17, 2007 at the First United Methodist Church, 414 W. Broad St., Forney, TX. 75126. Family visitation will be at the church Monday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hillcrest Cemetery in Forney or the First United Methodist Church of Forney.
