James Estle Privett

On August 29, 2023, James Privett of Seagoville, TX, passed away peacefully in his sleep. He was surrounded by many loved ones. James is survived by his children; J.D. Privett and wife Tabbie, Mary (Cathi) Gray and husband Danny and Patricia Privett. Grandchildren; Courtney Short (Randy), Kandace McFarlin (Nathan), Travis Privett and fiancée Gisselle, Dakota Gray, Hayden Gray and wife Suzanne. Great Grandchildren: Matt Short, Ethan Short, Sylas McFarlin, Gigi Price, Carter Blocker, Peyton Blocker and Hazel Blocker. James is survived by his companion dogs Pippa and Sadie.

The sun rose and the world welcomed James on March 7, 1939, a day the world became a little brighter. James lived a full life filled with joy, happiness, and lots of laughter. He was the master of telling funny jokes (even if some weren't always PG rated). He would also astonish you with endless stories of his adventurous childhood, or his many fishing escapades. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. James is predeceased by his amazing wife, Lucille Privett, whom he has eagerly embraced again.
