Born October 2, 1950 in Tucson, Arizona.Died February 8, 2007 after fighting ALS for ten years. A 1969 graduate of Richardson High School, Jim received his BS and MS degrees from Texas Tech in entomology. After several years as an entrepreneurial pest consultant in the wheat fields of West Texas, he hired on in data processing at Chilton, moving on to that company's change to TRW and then Experion. His final posting was to the Department of Justice, where he worked until the day prior to his death.
