James Noel Marshall was born in Waco, Texas on April 9, 1943. He was father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and a brother but, he was “Pops” to everyone. He loved dominos, playing horseshoes, and fishing but most of all he loved to be surrounded by the family he created. He was preceded in death by his parents George Pruitt Marshall and Ruby Aline Vaught Marshall, a sister Shirley Aline Weber and his wife and love of his life Ceceil Marshall. Survived by his two sons Tony and his wife Laura of Gainesville Texas, Tracy and his wife Wendy of Sulphur Springs Texas, his only daughter Tess and her husband Bryan of Quinlan Texas, 12 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren, sister Sharon Jennings of Garland Texas, longtime best friend Doc of Elgin Texas and, many nieces and nephews. His last requests were that everyone wear Dallas Cowboys and play Willie Nelson. The family requests in lieu of flowers donate to the American Cancer Society.
