James Allen Marr went to be with the Lord on February 11, 2016. Preceded in death by: Wife of 46 years: Virginia Walker Marr Wife of 19 years: Emily Jane Marr Parents: Davis Hammond and Gracie DeFord Marr Brothers: William “Bill” Marr, Wynell “Davis” Marr, and Porter Lee Marr Sister: Othello “Dusty” McClean Son in law: Harold Embry Survived by: Sister: Katherine Marr Jackson Son: James Russell and wife Sherry, Daughter: Vicki Marr Steele and husband James, Daughter: Kathy Marr Embry, Son: Russell Marr and wife Tracy He was also blessed to have step children: Daughter: Betty Sides and husband Bill, Son: Ron New and wife Joan, Son: Patrick New and wife Suzan and Daughter: Catherine Binkley and husband Steve 25 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren, Numerous Nieces, Nephews and Wonderful Friends. In 1949, James along with his brother Bill and brother-in-law, John McClean, founded Marr Bros. in Dallas, Texas which is still in operation today. Pallbearers are Grandsons: Jon Gholson, Michael Ghoson, Cody Embry, Kyle Mabry, Calvin New, Cory Marr and Ethan Marr
