In Memory of Jimmy Hetchler James "Jimmy" Hetchler, II was born to James & Pat Hetchler on May 12, 1961.He was a beautiful baby who grew into a handsome man. Jimmy was a man full of life.He was always ready for a joke and a good time. He loved telling stories from his childhood and telling the tales of growing up with such a large family. He loved to laugh and when his laughter filled a room it was contagious. He had a way of making the saddest person smile and laugh with his charming words and his laughter. Jimmy was a caring & loving son, husband & father. He strived to have a happy life and to ensure that every one else around him was happy along with him. He was an awesome Dad who loved his children with all his heart and soul. There was not a day of his life that he did not speak of how proud he was of his children, Jordan & Max and his two step-sons, Robbie & Hunter. He would always say that the Lord has blessed us with some wonderful children! He was a compassionate, loving husband who took care of his wife and showed her all the love he had for her in his heart every chance he got. Jimmy loved & respected his Mother and Pops.He treasured the love that they had for him and all the times that they had been there for him and lifted him up even when he did not deserve it.Jimmy loved his 2 brothers, Robert & Kyle and his little sister, Cindi. He wanted nothing more than for them to live life to it?s fullest and always be happy. Jimmy was an exceptionally talented and very hard worker. There was not anything that he could not fix.He had an amazing talent to just look at something and tell you how it worked. You could tell him how talented he was and he would just humbly say it is not me, it is God; God has blessed me this talent. In the last few months of Jimmy's life he was so on fire for God!He knew God was working in his life and that he was blessed and God had found favor on him.He wanted to tell everyone about his savior and about everything that God was doing in his life. One of the blessings that he was most thankful for was that God had given him back his one true love in life, his wife, Shannon. He got to remarry her and be happy with her again, something that he had longed for many years.Jimmy wanted to save the world; he talked about sharing God with others every day. But, he never got that opportunity. As you read this, let Jimmy have that opportunity.Look at his life and all that God had done for him and ask God to let you feel that same passionate fire and desire in your heart that Jimmy had in his last days here with us. And, as you read this, let laughter fill your heart, the same laughter that Jimmy loved to be around and rejoice for Jimmy is at home with his Heavenly Father now. He is waiting on his loved ones to join him so he can make then all laugh again! And be Happy and Love the Lord, that is what Jimmy would have wanted for you.
