James Harris

James "Jim" Harris was born on December 25th, 1941, in Coolidge, Arizona. He passed away surrounded by his family on July 12th, 2024 in Mesquite,Texas. He spent 60 wonderful years with his wife, Brenda Harris, and was a source of strength for his children: Traci & Andy Luchini, Kelli Price, and Craig Harris. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Micheal Luchini, Brandon Luchini, Nikki Harris, Haylee Frame, and Ava Harris, as well as his great-grandchildren: Natalie Luchini, Gabriel Luchini, Lilyana Fuller, Adaylnn Fuller, Jaxon Garcia, Layla Luchini, and Dakota Luchini. 

James had a passion for fishing and enjoyed 25 years of participating in bass tournaments with Brenda, achieving significant success and winning two boats. His legacy is one of unwavering dedication to his family and inspiring love for Brenda, whom he met and married after moving to Texas. They were married on August 23rd, 1963, and were blessed with three children: Traci, Kelli, and Craig. 

James' profound impact on those around him will always be cherished.

The celebration of James' life will be held at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas on Friday, July 19, 2024. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 pm, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 pm.
