James Raymond Eaker

James Raymond Eaker was born on May 2, 1956 and passed away on July 31, 2017. Raymond is preceded in death by parents: James A. Eaker and Mary Beth Eaker; and brother, Scotty Eaker. Raymond issurvived by wife of 37 years, Christi Eaker of Forney, TX;children: Misty Pounds & husband, Jason of Kaufman, TX, Kevin Eaker & wife, Monica of Kaufman, TX;grandchildren: Haylee, Dylan,Tristyn, Kristen, Collin, Kennedy; great grandchildren: Kinleigh and Addisyn; brother, Ronnie Eaker & wife, Jennifer; sister,Debbie Pannell & husband, Ronnie; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. Raymond proudly served in his country in the United States Marine Corps as Lance Corporal from August 28, 1975 until August 3, 1979. Raymond was an avid fisherman and especially loved to fish for bass, he would never pass up an opportunity to go fishing with his son Kevin or brother Ronnie at Lake Keho.Raymond loved spending time with his family, more especially his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and they all knew that whenever they saw him they had to give him a big hug and say “ I love my Paw Paws.” A visitation will be held for Raymond on Wednesday August 2, 2017 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. Funeral Service will be on Thursday August 3, 2017 at 12:00PM at New Hope Funeral Home. Interment will be on Friday August 4, 2017 at 9:00AM at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
