James N. Barrett

James Nascimento Barrett, 29 years old, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on December 19, 2016. James was born in Dallas, Texas, on July 12, 1987. He graduated from West Mesquite High school and received continued occupational training from several area schools. James grew up in Mesquite, Texas. He played soccer, hockey, skate boarded, and rode bulls. James was a Boy Scout and also played a number of musical instruments. He had a wide variety of talents and interests: James was a barber, masseur, chef, welder, antique dealer, Brewmaster, performer of magic, and a helper of everyone. James is survived by his daughter Alexis Barrett, parents Leslie Paul and Helenice Barrett, brothers David Allen Barrett and Leslie Edward Barrett, girlfriend Samantha Munguia, and many, many very close family and friends. James is preceded in death by his grandfather, James Leslie Barrett, and his brother, Christopher Paul Barrett.
