John Thomas Twomey was born on October 9, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York.Jack, “Uncle Jackie”, was one of eight children and loved his days in Sheepshead Bay. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Marianne (Cousins) and their children Paula & Jim Watson, Elizabeth, Jacqueline & Mark Smith, Matthew, Joanne & Zlatan Vuckovic, Mark & Anita, and Christine & Scott Bates, their 18 grandchildren, John, Jacob, Tracy & Clay Jasper, Alexander, Julia & Josh Herrington, Christina, Milana, Steven, Rachel, Sadie, Maridonna, Jin, Sean, Adeline, Ava, Lorelei, Claire, and Joseph, their great-grandchild Caylee, and his brothers Richard and William.He is predeceased by his sisters Marion (Davis) and Margaret (Borsare), brothers Joseph, James, and Robert, and infant child Marie.Jack served in the U.S. Army in Fort Benning, GA, where he earned the nickname Everybody’s Friend which he certainly lived up to.He had a knack for making people feel special and if you knew him, you loved him.He had a great love of history and was a graduate of the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in History.He was a true man of God that lived his faith and will be forever missed. www.youtube.com/v/IhvbV66dn64
