Jack Edward Allen

Jack Allen of Forney passed away suddenly on January 31, 2013 at the age of 61. He is survived by Suellyn, his wife of seventeen and a half years.In addition to his wife, Jack is survived by his son Adam Robert Allen and his wife Heather; daughter Katherine Marie Allen; grandchildren Parker Wayne Allen and Peyton Reese Allen, mother and stepfather Venita A. Boggan and James Boggan; and brothers Andy F. Allen, Terry E. Allen, and Lance D Allen. He was preceded in death by his father Alvin F. Allen. Jack was born December 19, 1951 in Wynne, Arkansas. He worked for the Social Security Administration from 1974-1998 and CMS from 1998 until he retired in 2008. For the past 5 years he has enjoyed some of his favorite pastimes including golf, gardening, brewing beer and spending time with his four legged children, Bailey and Libby. He and Suellyn were blessed to have a little slice of heaven in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas and spent as much time there as possible. Service will be 11:00AM Monday February 4, 2013 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 1:00PM - 3:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the SPCA or charity of your choice in honor of Jack.
