SHOWERS, Ira "Bud" of Forney, born March 12, 1924, passed away January 2, 2006. Preceded in death by son, Richard L. Tucker. Survived by wife, Geneva Showers of Forney; children, Glen Showers of Normangee, TX, Diana Rossman of Henderson, NV., Kenneth Tucker of Forney, TX., Larry Tucker of Forney, TX; 11 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren. Service will be 1:30PM Thursday January 5, 2006 at the First Baptist Church of Forney, 1003 FM 741, Forney, TX.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
