Hunter Crane

June 4, 1999 — January 22, 2025

Hunter Michelle Crane, 25, of Forney, died Wednesday, January 22 following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born in Kaufman on June 4, 1999. She was the daughter to Ruddy and Molly Crane and sister to Chloe.

She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2022. She also graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Veterinary Public Health - Epidemiology from Texas A& M University in December of 2024. Her goal was to be a veterinarian specializing in large animals - she loved cows! She attended the U S Dairy Education and Training Consortium twice in New Mexico. She loved animals and was dedicated to her dog, Dolly. She treated her as her own child, including dressing her for every imaginable holiday.

She was a member of the Forney Highsteppers drill team. She enjoyed travel, and as part of her time in the Highsteppers, she was able to visit Chicago. As a true highlight, she was able to go to Pasadena, CA, and participate in the Tournament of Roses Parade.

She is survived by her spouse, Ethan Craven, 5 cousins, Rylie Wheeler, Maddie Wheeler, Daylon Luburich, Asher Embry, and Abram Embry. She is also survived by a loving group of Grandparents, Aunts, and Uncles.
