Hilton Michael Puckett

PUCKETT, Hilton Michael of Forney, born December 3, 1945, passed away Wednesday June 1, 2011 at home. Mike was the owner and operator of Grove Battery for 28 years. He received recognition from Insterstate Battery for 50 years of selling and servicing Interstate Batteries. Mike Enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to Country Music and watching westerns on TV, but mostly he loved spending time with his family and friends. He was known and loved by all. Preceded in death by mother, Kitty Suwal of Mabank, TX. and father, Hilton Puckett of Dallas, TX. He is survived by wife of 30 years; Lynne Puckett; daughter, Stacy O'Dell of Forney, TX., son, Michael Lyn Swindle & wife, Ellen of Terrell, TX.; brother, Tim Puckett & wife, Keela of Mobile, Alabama; step-father, David Suwal of Mabank, TX.; grandchildren, Ashley & Garrett O'Dell of Kingwood, TX. and Alexandria Swindle of Terrell, TX; sisters-in-law, Faye Thrasher & Ruth Dickson of Malakoff, TX; brothers-in-law, Carroll and Royce Dickson of Malakoff, TX; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Service will be 12:00 Noon Saturday June 4, 2011 at New Hope Funeral Home. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM. Interment will be in Malakoff Cemetery, Malakoff, TX.
