Herbert Lee Acree

Herbert Lee Acree Jr., 74, of Sunnyvale, died Sunday, January 3rd, 2016, at his place of residence. Herb was born on April 17th, 1941, in Hattiesburg, MS to Herbert Sr. and Fredricka Acree and grew up in Meridian, MS. He was married to Tula Acree on March 27, 1964, at Presbyterian Church in Gainesville. He was a devoted member of Eastridge Park Christian Church. Herb was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, friend, and coworker. He will be greatly missed by all whose lives he has touched. He is survived by his son, Bryan Acree and his wife Brettney of Lake Dallas; grandchildren, Brylee, Beau, & Brooke; mother, Fredricka; brother, Milton Cornell He is preceded in death by wife Tula Acree; father Herbert Sr.; and sister, Phyllis Pettey. A visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 8th, 2016, at New Hope funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 9th, 2016, at New Hope.
