Helen Juanita Stretch born September 25, 1929 went home to bewith our Lord on January 6, 2010. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Juanita was the daughter of Reverend James H. and Stella Campbell, pastor of Church of Nazarene in Mattoon, Illinois. Juanita worked at the Brown Shoe Company in Mattoon, Illinois; RCA as Quality Inspector in Memphis Tennessee; General Electric as Quality Inspector in Plymouth, Florida. Roy and Juanita owned and operated a Sobik's Sub Shoppe in Eustis, Florida and Deluxe Subs and Such in Mesquite, Texas. Juanita is preceded in death by Reverend James Campbell (father), Stella Campbell (mother), Leota Thompson (sister), Alfred Campbell (brother), Edward Campbell (brother), Arthur Campbell (brother), George Eugene Campbell (brother), and Diana Darling (daughter). She is survived by her beloved husband of sixty years, Roy Franklin Stretch, and daughter Kimberly Graf. She if survived by her grandchildren: Geoffrey Darling, Christopher Darling, Andrew Graf, and Kevin Graf. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Service will be held at 3pm Sunday January 10, 2010 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, Texas 75182. Viewing and service will also be held Thursday and Friday, January 14-15, 2010 at Mitchell-Jerdan Funeral Home, 1200 Wabash Avenue, Mattoon, Illinois 61938. Interment at Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon.
