Simmons; parents, Otis Clayton Wilson & Sallie Elizabeth (Cope) Wilson; sister, Evelyn (Ebby) Pratt; infant sister, Emma (stillborn): daughter-in-law, Ann (Allred) Simmons. Survived by children, John Robert Simmons (Bob), Karen Elaine Simmons Zapata & husband, Mike, step-children: Cindy Simmons Burris, Lee Simmons & wife, Marie, Dottie McClain & husband, Damon, Lynette Brown & husband, Ken; grandchildren, Jeff Simmons & wife, Cricket, Jennifer Brackeen & husband, Ed, Johnny Tucker, Zach Zapata & wife, Christy, Sherri Bowman & husband, Brad, Savanna Hudgens & husband, John Ryan; numerous step-grandchilden; fourteen great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jessie Mae Wilson; numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 12:00Noon Friday August 1, 2014 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday morning from 11:00AM to 12:00PM. Interment will be in Laurel Land of Dallas.
