Hazel Marie Newton

Hazel Marie Newton was born to Martha Etta and Richard Claude Watts on May 13, 1930 in Greenville, TX.She went to be with the Lord on June 18, 2017.Hazel served the Lord as an active member of the First Baptist Church of Forney.She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.Hazel will be missed and remembered for her kindness to everyone she met and for her love of life.On August 19, 1946 Hazel married Billy Newton of Forney, Texas.They had two children, Carolyn Marie and Billy Wayne.She is preceded in death by her husband, Billy, four brothers, Amos, Claude, William and Walter, and her sister, Mary Blanch Anderson.She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Marie and husband, James Leroy Boller III "Jim", of Sisterdale, Texas; her son, Billy Wayne and wife, Lori of Forney, Texas; four grandchildren, Elicia Paige Boller of New York, New York; James Leroy Bollier IV "Jimmy" and wife, Erika of San Antonio, Texas; Aria Marie Johnson of Mabank, Texasand Melanie Jean and husband, Sam Kinney of Kansas City, Missouri.She is also survived by her sisters, Evelyn Pearl Bellows of Mesquite, Texas and Edna Florence White of Kaufman, Texas.Other survivors include eleven great grandchildren; Wyley, Bailey and Zoey Johnson; WilliamNewton; Carol Hayes, Mark Kinney, James, Lia and Isabel Boller, Jacqueline and Charles Boller-Malik.Visitation with the family will be at New Hope Funeral Home located at 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. from 6:00PM - 8:00PM on Thursday, June 22, 2017.Service will be held Friday, June 23, at 11:00AM in Chapel of the First Baptist Church of Forney with Pastor Jerry Griffin will conduct the eulogy and Dr. Jimmy D. Pritchard will officiate.The family has requested in lieu of flowers that memorials be made in Hazel's memory to the First Baptist Church of Forney, P. O. Box 97, Forney, TX. 78126.
