Haroldiene Lois Charba preferred to be called “Grandmother” but was also called “MeMaw” 84 years old resident of Seagoville, TX.2-10-1931 to 10-17-2015.Born in McAllister, OK to parents of Francis and Lois McDevitt.A graduate of Forest Avenue High School in Dallas 1949.She married her high school sweetheart Douglas Charba on August 10, 1950.The mother of four children with the first being born in 1952 in Albuquerque, NM while Douglas was in the Army.The couple returned to the Dallas area in 1954 and added three more children.The family moved to Mesquite, TX in 1968.Haroldiene worked during her career at Federal Reserve Bank and MBank from where she retired.Haroldiene and Douglas moved from Mesquite to start a 150 acre family owned cattle business in late 1980’s in Seagoville, TX.
