Harold Smith, age 79, passed away Thursday December 19, 2019 in Mesquite Texas. He was the greatest Dad and Paw Paw. Harold was born in Hughes Springs Tx Preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Smith, parents Sanford and Velaria Smith, sister Mary Emma Simmons and brother Arles “Shorty” Smith.He is survived by his children, Karen & Paul Seaton, Susan and Mark Crockett, Nancy Walker, Isaac & Desieray Brown Sr and James Sands.Siblings, Alford Smith, Edward and Donna Smith, Enid “Toppy” Vandiver, Margaret “Mickey” Fears and twin sister Carol Barnes.Special Friend Frances Former. Grandchildren, Michael & Melissa Seaton, Blake Seaton, Curtis Seaton, Jeremy Seaton, Katie Newsome, Leighann Crockett, Adrian & Kierah Walker, Jaylon Walker, Alexis Reed, Iyana Brown, Isaac Brown Jr. Great Grandchildren, Nolan Seaton, Emberlynn Seaton, Attican Seaton, Norei Seaton, Logan McDaniel, Arabelle Egbert, Erian Walker and A’zari Walker.And a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family and Friends. Harold never met a stranger and would help anyone.He volunteered many hours coaching Pee Wee Football, being Santa Claus and at West Mesquite High School.The World has lost a great man, but, Heaven has gained an awesome Angel.
